Our Legacy

Dear Patients and Friends,

This letter is to inform you that after 57 years of practicing dentistry, I will be officially retiring from my dental practice effective July 4, 2026.

My first two years of practice, I served during the Vietnam War as a dentist with the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force. With an honorable discharge, I then began my private practice. The decision to retire comes with a great deal of gratitude and reflection. Over the past five and a half decades, it has been a privilege and honor to serve as your dentist. I am grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me and my team over the years.

Your oral health remains our top priority. To ensure your care continues without interruption, I am confident that our office will remain committed to the high-quality care you have always received.

Again, I thank you for your trust, loyalty, and friendship throughout my career. Dr. David Bohannan, my son, and Dr. Michael Filewood, our associate, will continue caring for you and your family.
